G4KLX: I met Robin AA4RC at Hamvention two years ago (I also met Jim K6JM), and he didn't say anything negative about my implementation of D-Plus. I think his comments are aimed elsewhere.
w6oso: Hi All, Tonight I bring you a You Tube link ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRH7r_XFlM0 ) released 4 days ago during the Huntsville Hamfest. this video introduces the JVC/Kenwood TH-D74 - APRS/D Star radio. Enjoy.
w6oso: Hello again. I am posting a link ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXXl18G0QA0 ) of a video of the new Dayton Hamvention site produced by Tim Duffy and DX Engineering. The video is about 8 Minutes long. Enjoy. W6OSO
w6oso: Here is a link (http://www.jvckenwood.com/en/press/2016/08/press_160808.html ) to [the Japanese dual band] Kenwood Press Release dated August 8th for the new [EU verion of the] Kenwood TH-DX74. Enjoy
K7REX-Dan: Is it just me or did the Broadcastify feed just stopped working ~Dan
k6jm-jim: I have lost audio from Mike, but heard Ken and a few others key up. XRF002A seems to be ok, but Mike is not being heard right now.
w6oso: Mike Hearing you fine on the RPI Hot Spot, no sign of any problems.
w6oso: By the way I am listening to XRF002A
Justin: I lost NCS after Pre Amble in Wyoming
k6jm-jim: Robin's recent comments about unauthorized software may have been aimed at the openSPOT systems. See forum.sharkrf.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=130. One of the openSPOT authors found their code was crashing REF reflectors & has developed a fix
N6HKH: Everyone standby as we reboot reflectors and relink.
KB7CSW- Justin: RGR RGR, just heard NCS come back on
AI6KJ-Barbara: Mike, I have heard you since start of net on XRF002. I am on a hotspot.
n1dot: take a look at this website you will need to translate it to english.

KK6MYS: TH-D74 From what I'm hearing someone could write PC, Android and rPi software to have it do the Hotspot and Terminal mode like the ID-51a PLUS2. Maybe update the D-STAR Repeater to work with the TH-D74 as a hotspot.
K6KD: Reminder: I have a tool available to test. In beta xrefl.boards.net/thread/29/hot-spot-programmer-beta Works with RT Systems radio programming software to provide automation in defining hot spot and D-STAR Commander commands.
k6jm-jim: If ICOM is working on a G3 gateway, they are really keeping it secret. I wonder if the rumors are about adding DPlus Gateway to their software suite, perhaps taking it over from Internet Labs? This is pure conjecture, no facts here at all. Just a thought.
K7REX-Dan: I am not defending Robin, but when a station is killing a reflector with software he has not control over, what other choice would he have but to block that device
KF0LF: Wow, you guys are brutal. Would we even have DSTAR if it weren't for Robin & ICOM ?
K7REX-Dan: I have lost Broadcastify feed again... I hear nothing right now...
N6HKH: Broadcastify feed working fine here.
K7REX-Dan: Broadcastify is working again, who knows ?
K7REX-Dan: Broadcastify feed stopped again.... It may be on my side, I am using a satellite Internet service at a mountain cabin, a service that leaves much to desire...
KK6MYS: It was down for me too, I was unable to reconnect for a few minutes. Could there be a connection limit?
KK6MYS: K7REX where are you? fire lookout in the mountains?
K7REX-Dan: No, I am at a family cabin located at Grandjean, Idaho next to the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho. That said, the Pioneer Forest Fire (a major fire) is just a few miles from here...
G4KLX: I think it's far too late for a G3 system, unless they make it open and engage with people like me.
G4KLX: I'd happily write software for the new Kenwood radio, if they gave me one :-)
K7REX-Dan: Broadcastify feed has gone away again,,, I think I'll pull the plug and listen to this on tomorrows podcast...
K6KD: So Calif 220 band plan www.220sma.org/bandplan.htm
