KE0AYJ: As promised: www.icomdirect.jp/new/20161210.pdf
KE0AYJ: The above is the announcement from ICOM Japan for all upcoming releases of all amateur radio products.
KE0AYJ: Use Google Translate
K7REX-Dan: RT Systems KRS-D74 programmer for D-STAR on the new Kenwood THD74 www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAiVFzKs3Ms#t=124.179615 It is kind of neat...
G4KLX: The latest firmware for the TH-D74 fixes the bug whereby status messages in the ack (BER, linked to, etc) caused an error. They are now displayed correctly.
N6HKH: We will be reviewing Digital Hotspots using a comparison guide posted in References & Links in this Forum. d-star-roundtable.boards.net/thread/189/comparison-amateur-radio-digital-hotspots?page=1&scrollTo=271
N6HKH: You must login as a Forum member to access boards and download docs. It's no big deal -- takes a few seconds using your callsign.

NA5V:: Had IC7100 stop xmiting audio after setting gps /manual pos. Sift reset solved. Cannot figure how to access the net. Can program computers but cannot operate dstar.
KE4EWB: gb7wc.ukace.co.uk/?page_id=44 GB7WC now runs G3 Software only the 3 rd outside Japan to be ... This will enable the use of the new range of radios from Icom like the ID 51 plus 2. id51plus2.
KE4EWB: Oops. Meant to say I just Googled that up. Unfortunately, the website for the repeater is have a DB issue so the page won't load.
KD8WRL: NA5V - How are you doing dstar with other radios? IC-7100 should be no different. You using hotspots or repeaters?
KE4EWB: Google cached the page. webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Tg7Z_PhJFwoJ:gb7wc.ukace.co.uk/%3Fpage_id%3D44+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
ve3mjm: IC7100 : Check that the microphone setting is correct. eg "SET","Connectors","Data Off Mod","MIC". If it is on ACC or USB no audio out will happen. Just a thought.
KE0AYJ: It is surprising that there is now input tonight.
KE0AYJ: Sorry...No input
KE0AYJ: There is no gateway at gb7wc. At least it isn't shown on the website.
KE0AYJ: Softbank has interests in Iowa.
KE0AYJ: And Ohio
KE0AYJ: Consider that Softbank owns Sprint and is soon said to buy T-Mobile
KE4EWB: GB7WC B is currently connected to ref079D
KE0AYJ: Yes but it is using G2
KE4EWB: How can you tell?
KE0AYJ: I will attempt to connect via access point mode on the plus 2. I may have to register on that particular GW
KE0AYJ: If they migrated the user database then I should be there. If they are connected to REF's and such then the database is running.
KE0AYJ: Something as simple as the web interface should not be a problem
KE0AYJ: No connection via the IP address.
KE0AYJ: No connection via domain name
KE0AYJ: Once the database error clears I will attempt to connect. If that doesnt work out I will fire off an email to the owners and ask for the registration. If they wont do it because of dual registration, then it's a dead issue and solves nothing.
