N9KO: Just had a QSO with a DStar op who was using DCS006T. I was on DMR Brandmeister 3100 . Audio was good. N4IRS was the person who set this, per the other op I was talking to.
K6KD: Added 3 threads in Current Discussions: 1) Updated KB5RAB image available, 2) My opinion comparing KB5RAB image with Pi Star, and 3) Comparing MMDVM/DMRGateway with openSPOT
wb5eku: I can't comment comparing MMDVM with the Openspot as I don't have an OpenSpot. I just find it interesting that they name it OpenSpot when in fact it is closed as opposed to MMDVM which is totally open. But... a name is a name.
wb5eku: KB5RAB and pi-star I can comment on.
KK6MYS: Tether with your cellular phone would work. In iOS you can turn on personal hotspot and connect 5 devices to it.
KK6MYS: if you want something for a USB type hotspot then something like the TP-Link TL-MR3020 Wireless 3G/4G Portable Router would work. You can plug in your supported hotspot to the N150 and it will use that for your internet connection.

k6jm: I hear Dan K7REX coming in via satellite, I think using his openSpot which has jittter buffers to make satellite possible. Nice going, Dan!
