JS: 09/26/2017 Amateur Radio’s Force of 50 Answers the Red Cross Call in Puerto Rico, each with digital HF rigs

K6KD: JS - good message above but we need valid call signs. Will be increasing deleting shouts without valid call signs.
wb5eku: Topic for RT -- The XLX email list has discussion of XLX reflector numbering scheme and the conflicts that are caused.
K6KD: WB5EKU - saw topic and responded. Problem is not with XLX but with image developers who let XLX preempt other existing reflectors. Contributing issue is lack of similar directory for REF and DCS reflectors (vs xrefl.net)
wb5eku: k6KD, John do you think this is worth bringing up as a topic on the RT to educate?
K6KD: WB5EKU - My opinion - probably not. It is an issue for image providers to address. Some users are blaming XLX admins, and their accusations are totally off the mark.
wb5eku: OK
KK6MYS: Link to info on it and the yahoo group from 2008? www.dstarinfo.com/d-star-decoder-software.aspx
k6fed: www.qsl.net/kb9mwr/projects/dv/dstar/dstardecoder+dvdongle-Eng.pdf Looks like a thing of the past
w6oso: I would like to bring to the forum a new product just released by Wireless Holdings, LLC. The product is the new DV4 Mobile ( wirelesshold.com/dv4mobile.aspx ) This is the new DMR D Star Etc. do all radio. For you info.
n7tae: Four days ago Jonathan G4KLX tweeted "A number of major fixes made to both branches of the #DMRGateway over the last few days. Everyone should upgrade as soon as possible."
k6jm: The DV4mobile is interesting. I remember seeing a prototype at Dayton 18 months ago. Glad to see it finally coming to market. An interesting feature is its cell network chip allowing cloud saving & downloading config info. Clever.
VK4TUX_Adrian: I noticed that the audio quality is much better on XRF002 A than on XRF555 A
VK4TUX_Adrian: Daily updated XLXHosts.txt (new format V2.0 > DMR XLX reflectors only) for DMRGateway vk4tux.duckdns.org/OD/XLXHosts.txt
