g4klx: My talk at Pacificon is glorious Technicolour: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbJZkW3ZGms
N9KO: The Peanut network now includes analog FM radio and Android devices. These devices can be linked to D-Star reflectors. It would be nice to get the Thursday net linked to it. Check it out at www.pa7lim.nl and then select the "Peanut" tab.
KG5SLG: Interesting devices these network radios peanut should work great on one of these devices www.hi-radio.com/product/inrico-tm-7-wifi-gsm-wcdma-3g-sim-network-ptt-mobile-car-radio-with-touch-screen/
k6jm: David sure is creative. Peanut uses VOIP (analog over IP similar to echolink), but he has set up infrastructure with rooms etc. Some rooms apparently have AMBE D-Star to analog and analog to D-Star capabilities.
k6jm: So it appears the supported reflectors are connected to those Peanut rooms. Not transcoding, just doing the encoding/decoding centrally. Peanut users -- do I understand it right?
KG5SLG: Here it is network-radios.com/index.php/product/senhaix-n60/
KG5SLG: Information on the TCP Fast open to digest en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TCP_Fast_Open
KG5SLG: TCP Fast Open is an extension to speed up the opening of successive TCP connections between two endpoints. It works by skipping the three-way handshake using a cryptographic "cookie". It is similar to an earlier proposal called T/TCP, which was not widely
VE7LEE: I got my Peanut working. But how do I get this reflector, xrf555a?
KG5SLG: night all calling it a night 73's ps there are tons of dual time slot on ebay some as low as 43 bucks night
