Some how I turned off the GPS. The data is being sent because i see it on the Google maps APRS sight, and it is updating! BUT THE REF reflectors don't seem to see that. All the obvious GPS menus have the GPS turned on. I have to be missing something.. The call sign use to light up in red on the REF system and still does with my Icom, but will not with the Kenwood. GPS sentences are the same as they were.. $GPGGA and $GPRMC. GPS info in frame is ON. Where else do I look?

Since no one has replied.... I will post what I have found out myself! .... The Kenwood is not recognized by the REF reflectors.. Icom radio's are but Kenwood is not. The format of the GPS data for some reason does NOT quite agree with Icom's format and the REF reflectors will not turn the call sign red even if the radio is sending the GPS data,, SO WE ARE OUTA LUCK if we want this to work... For ICOM's ONLY i guess! @#$!@#$ NUTS!!! very discriminatory!

k7exj: Sorry to see the roundtable net close. I learned a lot listening to this net and I'm going to miss the discussions. I wish Mike all the best... you made the net a success and ran the best VHF/UHF voice net I ever was involved with. 73 all.

k6jm: 5/2 - Tuned into XRF002A at 7pm PDT just to see if anyone was there. Had a few very nice QSOs. Everyone had heard the net is no more, but it was fun to talk. XRF002A is still a great reflector.
