N6HKH: Hi everyone.
VA3TWT: Welcome back Mike!
VA6KRK: Sorry Mike but somethings come up and I cant hang around. I don't want to double with anyone. Can you give me a second to unlink. Thanks

KK6MYS: Youtube video on the presentation from ShooCon 2016 by the author on the MD380 firmware hack. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSq_bVX2to8
N6HKH: Thanks for the links.
KK6MYS: From what I read over the last few days. The hack turns your MD380 into a DMR scanner. There are no custom firmware at this point that turns the MD380 into a D-STAR radio
KK6MYS: MMDVM Page. mmdvm.blogspot.ca/?m=1
VE7LEE: VE7RAG repeater has the same problem connecting to XRF021B, it will connect and 5 seconds later disconnect.
VK5ZEA: Over the last month I have been noticing that the D-Star Roundtable on REF012 A has been suffering badly from packet loss... almost to the stage of being un-listenable. Other D-Star nets seem to be fine. Anyone else seeing this?
VK5ZEA: There are hundreds of connected systems at the moment (repeater gateways, hotspots, dongles, etc)... I'm wondering if there is a bandwidth issue with REF012 with such a heavy load?
kz8bay: You were having artifacts on my end, some transmission pieces were garbled. I guess you couldn't hear my report
VK5ZEA: I've shot some video of what I'm experiencing here. I'll put it on YouTube in coming days and post a link.
N6HKH: Thanks, Michael
