kerry1957: Hi Guys Kerry here VK4tub last week I asked about commands for the DV Mega board using Dstar Comander in the headless configuration.
kerry1957: I discovered that no matter what i did using the id51 to command the mega board it will not work at all, has anyone got any ideas as i am 10 days out from comming to the states and was intending to take the mega with me to keep in touch but now i find that

W6KD: I think maybe there's some confusion between ircddb and g2_link on the repeaters
W6KD: @kerry--are you certain you're using the dvmega version of the image, and not the DVAP version?
kerry1957: no its Bobs image and the mega board i purchased from giga parts
W6KD: This is Bob...there are two versions of the DStar Commander image--one is for the dvMega, the other is for the DVAPs. The DVAP version of the download will not work with the dvMega
kerry1957: the board workd great and I can switch reflectors just can do the basics shutdown reboot imformation, update etc

kerry1957: Bob if youre still on here i have just re run the software and it does not ask for the time, I am running this headless
W6KD: @kerry--No, it's set in the RasPi, you run sudo raspi-config and there's an option there. If you type "date" in the lxterminal window, does it show date/time in UTC?
