nr5g: Is there a case made to house the raspberry Pi and dv mega board??
Barbara: I use and recommend this case.
Barbara: www.portableuniversalpower.com/our-products/ham-radio-power/dhap-mini-mega/. It is pricey but includes many things that you would otherwise have to buy separately. You do have to charge the batteries out of the case but this is for safety reasons.
K7REX-Dan: There several different cases. The one Barbra points out is a first class, top notch case (I have one), but it's a bit expensive.... DVMEGA sells a case for that setup, but the one I like most is shown at: www.papasys.com/showthread.php?t=1652
K7REX-Dan: The new Kenwood TH-D74A is now showing up everywhere, including YouTube's with How-To's, demo's, etc.,.
G4KLX: The OpenSPOT people have just posted on FaceBook that it now supports DExtra.
W6KD: I'd like to get someone with an Openspot updated with the new DExtra-enabled firmware to do some functional testing with the new version of dxrfd (XRF server software) that just went into beta.
n9ko: Universal Radio lists the new Icom Plus 2 as a pre-order. Sales price is $499.95 with availability in late Fall 2016.
KK6MYS: A review of the DV4Home with detail on the hardware. https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/53nn3k/all_about_the_dv4home/
W6KD: Yikes...lots of red flags in the DV4Home article!
N6MUD: Any update on when the TH-D74A will officially ship?
w6oso: The Latest word that I have heard was the Kenwood TH-D74 would start shipping the end of September and early October 2016.

K7REX-Dan: Mike, apparently your providing the Broadcastify from your PC running WINDV because he is not being heard on the streaming...
K7REX-Dan: Mike, To be fair regarding comments about the DV4Home made eariler you might read and comment on KK6MYS's lastest post

K7REX-Dan: Mike, the feed is working great, only when you working that station that wasn't making it through your WinDV was there a problem - that station wasn't coming through, but you were still doing just fine....
N6HKH: Broadcastify feed up, did not go down to our knowledge, just tested and no errors. FYI. We have a station sitting on the Broadcasitfy feed console.
K7REX-Dan: Broadcastify hasn't missed a beat tonight - only when you were talking to that station that wasn't coming through on your WinDV was there a problem, the problem being he was not coming through... I assume the Broadcastify is coming from your WinDV
N6HKH: We take audio directly from our XRF constellation. Nothing directly from my station.
K7REX-Dan: Interesting... Then that station was not working through two different sources, not just WinDV...
