KB6CUS: Thank you All for the info that I was able to get from the D-STAR Net this evening. That dstarinfo.com website is Exactly what i have been Needing for a very long time. That website works Very Well in getting Exactly what I need for my All of my radios.
G4KLX: I disagree with the comments about other data modes using D-Star because they're jealous or whatever. Many people simply want to see all of the DV modes to be inter-operable. This has been made plain by many people long before DMR took off or C4FM was...
G4KLX: ...even announced. I think it's a worthy cause as long as we don't end up using the lowest common denominator of all of them. In the UK D-Star seems to be dying while DMR is growing very quickly indeed.
G4KLX: I'd love to join your net, but 4am is not a time I want to see! I love listening to K6KD and W6KD, they know their stuff.
K6KD: Jonathan thanks very much for your comments. In other countries in Europe and N America D-STAR is growing. I maintain list at xrefl.net and I see the growth. My objection linking to BrandMeister is it is not open source. You and Scott/KI4LKF have done so much to facilitate open source and Ramesh, Luc, Jean-Luc, and Bob have made important additions...
K6KD: I like to see the D-STAR infrastructure support open source, regardless of mode.
W6EDS: I noticed Papa 3 (analog) coverage is much better. I can even hear it in downtown LA...

N3GLD: Freedompop at freedompop.com offers free LTE service through Sprint with 1GB of data per month. You have to pay ~$3 a month for 3G service which I do for full coverage. I leave my hotspot on 3G. The Mingle is often on sale for $29 if you watch.
