W6KD: @kg5re--I've blocked you from the reflector due to an unattended beaconing radio. No e-mail listed in QRZ.com Please turn off your beacon and contact us so we can enable your access again. If anyone is on the W5DRA repeater, please pass this on to him
va3wm: Question for the group. Thinking to leverage an off site internet connection to RF link to an Icom stacked repeater site using a modem board like MMDVM with Due, a pi and a Motorola mobile. Is this feasible and what software would I need?
VE7LEE: RF interference when an electric slow down in regenerative mode on AM radio. Notice in a Fiat 500e
VE7LEE: No RF interference with a DSTAR radio, may cause interference with HF radio.
k6jm: An ICOM stack has its own repeater controller and gateway, but you mentioned using an MMDVM modem, suggesting you'll not be using the ICOM gear and instead 3rd party open source gateway software like G4KLX DStarRepeater and ircDDBGateway.
KK6BDF: Info about SDRplay digital mode: www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=557
k6jm: va3wm -- ircDDBGateway supports "Gateway" mode for off-site internet. Basically at the internet site, you set up a G4KLX Hotspot the repeater can hear. I'll post details in a new topic "Repeater with Offsite Internet" in General Discussions.
Wayne N5WD: Did we lose XRF02A? No audio here for a few minutes, now.
VE7LEE: xref002a is working for me
K0OQL: Had to switch to XRF555A here.
Wayne N5WD: Hmmm tnx Lee
K6KD: I've been monitoring XRF002A and for me it has been 100%
Wayne N5WD: Rebooted the DVMega and all fine now - first time that's ever happened while actively listening to something.
kb8aob: HRO shipped a Zumspot and now in service
k6jm: TripAdvisor lists "Club D Star" in Seoul, South Korea, but alas, it appears to be a bar and not related to ham radio.
N6HKH: Damn ....
k7exj: I'd go to that bar!!!
VE7LEE: Bill was all R2D2 here
kb8aob: I have seen no updates on the Wireless holdings firmware or website in several months
kb8aob: wirelesshold.com/

VE7LEE: I purchase a Kia Soul EV yesterday. I now have two EV. Fiat 500e
VE7LEE: Electric noise? Did he have a mobile hardwire 12 VDC ?
VE7LEE: I have no problem using a portable in my EV.
k6jm: Thanks to all who suggested good but inexpensive DMR HTs. Good net tonight.
k7exj: The noise isn't heard by the driver... just someone listening to the driver talking on DMR. It was on my wife's audio but she said she didn't notice anything.
