AI2M: I also noticed Buster receive issues before. I tested on XRF002, XRF310 and XRF555 using DExtra links. Transmissions made with Buster could be heard on all linked reflectors, but on receive only stations on the same reflector could be heard...
AI2M: Stations transmitting on other linked reflectors were not heard. At the time I thought it had something to do with the decoded callsign fields, but I didn't get any further than that. Instead, I have been using G4KLX Dummy Repeater in Wine on my Macs...
AI2M: connected to my networked DV3000 AMBE Server, which works quite well. Dan
KK6MYS: I found a ircDDB last heard list. ircddb.net/live.htm. You have to enable it by "VIS___ON" in yourcall and then key up.
TG9AOR: Hi Mike, your transmissions are making it through 100%
AA7US: All I'm hearing is keyups on XRF310A... no audio.
TG9AOR: I am linked to XRF002 Module A, sorry I forgot to mention that.
AA7US: Got you loud and clear on XRF310A
TG9AOR: Is the net in progress? I hear nothing now.
AA7US: One of the more FUN aspects of experimentation!
AA7US: TG9AOR: Log back in.
K7REX-Dan: Mike: I am not hearing you on XRF002A, I just now went to XRF310 and I hear you fine there ().... a
TG9AOR: I rebooted the Pi as I did not see myself on the Dashboard at XRF002A. Thanks..,.
TG9AOR: There, I hear Mike now. Thanks.
W6KD: KK6AKH--what are you using to connect to the XRF?
KD8WRL: I use 70cm Single-band DVMEGA Board on Raspberry Pi 2 B, I also use the ircDDB remote gateway app on iPhone to select whatever reflector I want, REF, DCS, XRF. etc.
W6KD: Standing bye for KK6AKH
kk6akh: W6KD on station kk6akh
W6KD: Hi Frank...What software are you using on your RasPi...and what sort of Dongle and software are you using?
W6KD: I saw a connection by a dongle as well as a hotspot under your callsign
kk6akh: I'M USING YOUR SOFTWARE I.E.: 2.1 WITH A Raspi 3...70 CM DVAP...
W6KD: OK...just the single hotspot then? And were you also connecting with a Dongle?
TG9AOR: xreflector.net
TG9AOR: The FCS(Fusion Call Servers) are only linked via DV4Mini..... The DCS(Digital Call Servers) only work if you have a CCS7 ID, if you do not have a CCS7 ID you may link but not talk.
kk6akh: Just using a hotspot at this time...May use Blue Dongel or thump drive on REF 12 A...Will this cause a problem for your NET...
W6KD: OK...but earlier (near net start), I see two different devices from your IP address connecting, one disconnecting repeatedly, and finally your hotspot started retransmitting traffic back into the reflector. Wondering what was connected at that time.
kk6akh: Just the hotspot...I did reconnect when the XRF002 dropped out. I'm only using one device. I hope this helps...
W6KD: OK, are you using an external WiFi adapter on the RasPi? I think you said the Pi was connected via ethernet cable. Is it possible the Pi has both an ethernet and a WiFi connection both active?
W6KD: Also, what is programmed in the RPT1 and RPT2 field of your radio?
KD8WRL: This it?? nwdigitalradio.com/native-macos-application-for-thumbdv-and-pidv/
kk6akh: The RasPi is connected via Ethernet cable, but programmed for a mobile WIFI. The Mobile WIFI IS TURNED OFF...
K6KD: HRO website indicates Kenwood TH-D74A scheduled for September
W6KD: Frank...would you plz send me an e-mail to w6kd at yahoo dot com...we can do this later. Thanks for your help.
kk6akh: I'm transmitting in simplex to the DVAP AND PI. RPT-1 and RPT-2 is Blank...
W6KD: OK, thanks.
VK5TJT: Is the D-Star Round table on XRF002A in operation currently?
W6KD: Yes
kk6akh: I will send you a E-mail...
k6fed: Software Tools used to setup the raspberry pi /DVMEGA . Ipscan24 (used to get IP address of the raspberry pi connected to your network) Tight VNC viewer (used to remoter into the raspberry pi). Sdformatter used to format your Sdr card.
k6fed: Win32disk imager (used to put the raspberry pi image on the sdcard). Plus the commander image for dvap or dvmega
K6KD: Software works with WinDV on Winbook - using wireless bluetooth mouse or voice control d-star-roundtable.boards.net/thread/34/remote-ptt-control-windv
KD8WRL: KC2IDB - did you have to remove the wire from the DVMEGA before placing it on the Raspberry Pi 3 B? How did you know which firmware to install for the MMDVM to work?
Guest: KD8 it is ok to leave the wire and Software is at dvmega site
KD8WRL: I have my Pi 3 ready with the image and MMDVM host software, just wasn't sure which firmware, is it the same one that works with the bluestack? I also have the bluestack micro 1.2+
Guest: Firmware v V2.29
KC2IDB : Yes I still have the wire attached while in operation. I am using the dual band dvmega with firmware version 2.28 but 2.29 is now available.
KC2IDB : www.dvmega.auria.nl/images/MMDVMhost%20check.pdf
w5lnd: After your done with the update on the DVMEGA you can just leave the wire on. I have the 2.29 loaded and MMDVM is running well.
KK6MYS: lost the broadcastify feed.
N6HKH: Sent message re Broadcastify to feed provider.
N6HKH: Broadcastify feed will be down for remainder of net I am sad to report.
w5lnd: You need to use the old raspberry pi model B to update the dual band dvmega firmware.
w5lnd: Happy birthday to Adrian VK4TUX
w5lnd: No copy here either.
w5lnd: I can testify VK4TUX image to update the dvmega works great, we have now done 5 dvmega updates with it here in Texas.
VK4TUX: odroidcity.duckdns.org/PI/tux_PiB_DVMegaFW_burner.img.zip
